DELETING MESSAGES IN STACK

If installer enabled, messages in the stack can be deleted as follows:
Scroll using the RESET/RECALL button until the message to be deleted is displayed.
Once displayed, press the RESET/RECALL button again for approx. 3 seconds to delete the displayed
message. An alert bleep indicates the message has been deleted.

DELETING ALL MESSAGES IN STACK

If enabled ALL messages can be deleted as follows:
When the receiver is placed in the storage rack.
When the receiver is switched OFF.
NOTE:
While the receiver is in the storage rack, new messages will be stored in the memory stack. When taken
out of the rack it will emit two attention bleeps to indicate to the user that new messages have been received.
TELEMETRY MESSAGES
The telemetry function (Mailbox) is only available for versions with alphanumeric display. This function, if
enabled, provides receiver holders withcontinuous 'up-to-date' information (e.g process control (upto 48-
character)).
A paged call with telemetry information is defined by its bleep pattern (normally a silent call). In case it is sent as
a silent call the telemetry message is written directly to the memory stack and not to the display.
The user is informed of such a message with a flashing telemetry message icon. If the telemetry message is sent
with a normal bleep pattern, the receiver emits an alert (bleep/vibrates/LED) and displays the message on the
alphanumeric display (telemetry message icon is ON).
If the receiver is in standby mode, the telemetry message can be displayed from the memory stack as follows:
Press the RESET/RECALL button once if the receiver display its normal paging address or the last
received message (max. 24 characters).
Press twice if the receiver displays its last received 48 character message. While the telemetry message
is displayed, the telemetry icon will be constantly ON and NO message number displayed.
Back-lighting
Back-lighting for the alphanumeric display is incorporated for use in badly lit situations. If installer enabled for
back-lighting, the display will illuminate with every incoming call containing alphanumeric information and when
scrolling through the message stack. The light will switch OFF approx. 8 seconds after the bleep, or after 10
seconds if the RESET/RECALL button has not been pressed.
SPEECH MESSAGES
Your receiver can be installer programmed to receive speech or not to receive speech. If enabled for
speech, speech can be relayed from the caller via the receivers built-in loudspeaker. If speech is enabled in the
receiver this is indicated under the Speech ON/OFF icon.
To terminate a speech call press the RESET/RECALL button. Normally speech reception is ended by a reset
speech call from the central.
If the RESET/RECALL button is pressed in error during a speech call, press the RESET/RECALL button again
within 8-second to re-open the speech channel.
OUT-OF RANGE DETECTION
All receivers incorporate an 'out of range' function (see note) alerting the user when the receiver has been
taken out-of-range of the system transmitters. Out-of-range is indicated as follows:
LBB 609x – LBB 619x
(Mailbox)
(type No. dependent)
