Style Record Mode

Note: The Velocity Control parameter is saved into the Perfor-
mance, Style's STS or SongBook's STS.

Variation/STS Link

The Variation/STS Link parameter has been added to the Prefer-
ences > Style Setup page of the Style Play mode.
Variation/STS Link
This parameter makes each Variation recall the corresponding
STS. It only works when the SINGLE TOUCH function is
engaged.
Off Selecting a Variation doesn't automatically recalls
any STS.
On If the SINGLE TOUCH LED is turned on, select-
ing a Variation automatically recalls the corre-
sponding STS, i.e., Variation 1 recalls STS 1,
Variation 2 recalls STS 2, and so on.
If the SINGLE TOUCH LED is turned off, no STS
is automatically recalled.
Note: You can turn this parameter on or off by means of the SHIFT
+ SINGLE TOUCH shortcut.

Direct writing of Styles into Direct HD
banks
With operating system version 2.0, when you select the Write
Style command from the page menu of the Style Record mode,
you can write the newly recorded or edited Style directly into the
DIRECTHD folder inside the hard disk (if installed). This folder
corresponds to the Direct HD Styles (see User's Manual for more
information).
Copy Chord Table command
The Copy Chord Table command has been added to the page
menu of the Style/Pad Record mode. This command can only be
accessed while in the Style Element Chord Table page.

After selecting this command, the Copy Chord Table dialog box
appears:
Use the Style Element pop-up menu to select the target Style Ele-
ment(s) where to copy the Chord Table of the current Style Ele-
ment.
Solo Track command 1.50
The Solo Track command has been
added to the page menu of the Style
Record mode.
Select the track to be soloed, then
check this item. You will hear only the
selected track, and the 'Solo' warning
will flash on the page header.
Uncheck this item to exit the Solo
function.
