Functional principle

The electronic knob cylinder C100 V3 double cylinder is suitable for escape doors
because the interior door knob is continuously activated and the door can always
be unlocked from the inside. The electronic knob cylinder C100 V3 half-cylinder
does not have an interior door knob.
The exterior door knob is activated at the electronic cylinder C100 after a positive
authorisation.
The electronic knob cylinder C100 V3 is connected through a hub to an online EAC
system. The authorisation decision sent to the knob cylinder is based on the data
stored on the server.
The electronic knob cylinder C100 V3 has a tamper protection contact (tampering)
for monitoring the knob (e.g. when replacing a battery or during a tampering
attempt).
A USB interface is available for installing the software and updating the firmware.
ID media for emergency authorisations
If the connection to the online EAC system fails, the electronic knob cylinder
C100 V3 can be opened with one of ten ID media for emergency authorisation.
The outside door knob can then be released directly by knob electronics.
