Special pan support for "WOK" pans (Fig. 6 optional)
When using "WOKS" (concave bottom) they are placed on the triple crown pan support.
In order not to cause serious burner functioning anomalies, it is recommended not to use woks without this
special pan support and not to use this support with flat bottomed pans.
Choice of burner
The choice of burner depends on the diameter and capacity of the pan (see table)
It is important that the pan diameter is suitable for the power of the burner so that performance is not compromised

Advice for safe use of the cooking surface
• Do not use the surface if the ceramic plate surface is broken or damaged.
•
Remember that the cooking area remains hot for a significantly long period of time (approx. 30 minutes.) after it is turned off.
•
Do not let heavy or pointy objects fall on the surface.
• Never cook food directly on the surface. Use appropriate pots or pans.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION

Important!
These instructions are intended for a qualified installer.
The appliance must be installed correctly and in conformity with laws in vigour.
Any type of intervention must be carried out with the appliance disconnected electrically.
Installing in the top (unit surface)
The cooking surface can be installed in all units as long as they are resistant to heat (minimum resistance of
90°C).
The size of the hole to be made on the unit top and the minimum distance from rear, side and overhead walls from the appliance are
shown in figure 7.
Bear in mind that:
• When the cooking surface is installed without an oven, a separating panel between the bottom of the cooking surface and the unit
below must be placed at a minimum distance of 10 mm.
• If the surface is installed along with an oven, place a separator at a minimum distance of 15 mm and follow the instructions given
by the oven supplier, keeping aeration as specified in fig 8.
In any case the electric connections of both appliances must be done separately, for electrical reasons and in order to facilitate
removal.
It is recommended to use an oven that has forced internal cooling.
