1.1 Front panel
1 6.3 mm jack INPUT PASSIVE for connecting a
bass with passive sound pick-up system

bass with active sound pick-up system
3 Control GAIN for matching the amplifier input to
the output level of the instrument
4 Tone control SHAPE for adjusting the basic
sound: The further the control is turned counter-
clockwise, the more the low midrange frequen-
cies will be attenuated. With the button pulled
out, the level will be increased without attenuat-
ing the midrange frequencies.
5 Volume control MASTER
6 Switch for activating/deactivating the compressor
7 Control RATIO for adjusting the degree of com-
pression with the compressor activated
8 Switch for activating/deactivating the 7-band
equalizer
9 7-band equalizer with adjustment ranges of ±15 dB

Dieses Gerät entspricht der Richtlinie für elektro-
magnetische Verträglichkeit 89/336/EWG und der
Niederspannungsrichtlinie 73/23/EWG.
WARNUNG Das Gerät wird mit lebensgefährlicher
Beachten Sie auch unbedingt die folgenden Punkte:
Das Gerät ist nur zur Verwendung im Innenbe-
reich geeignet. Schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und
Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze
(zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gefäße,
z. B. Trinkgläser, auf das Gerät.
Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb bzw. zie-
hen Sie sofort den Netzstecker aus der Steck-
dose:
1. wenn sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder an der
Netzanschlussleitung vorhanden sind,

Lassen Sie das Gerät in jedem Fall in einer Fach-
werkstatt reparieren.

This unit corresponds to the directive for electro-
magnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC and to the low
voltage directive 73/23/EEC.
WARNING
Please observe the following items in any case:
The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it
against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity, and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range 0 – 40 °C).
Do not place any vessel filled with liquid on the
unit, e. g. a drinking glass.
Do not operate the unit or immediately disconnect
the plug from the mains socket
1. in case of visible damage to the unit or to the
mains cable,
2. if a defect might have occurred after the unit
was dropped or suffered a similar accident,
3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case the unit must be repaired by skilled
personnel.
Never pull the mains cable for disconnecting the
mains plug from the socket, always seize the plug.
The heat generated within the unit will be dissipat-
ed by the cooling ribs (16). Therefore, do not cover
these ribs. Never place the unit directly against a
wall; always keep it at a sufficient distance.
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
chemicals or water.

men Sie deshalb niemals selbst Ein-
griffe am Gerät vor. Durch unsachge-

Kühlrippen (16) abgegeben. Decken Sie diese
deshalb nicht ab. Stellen Sie das Gerät nie direkt
an eine Wand; halten Sie einen entsprechenden
Abstand ein.
Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes,
weiches Tuch, niemals Wasser oder Chemikalien.
Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, nicht richtig an-
geschlossen, falsch bedient oder nicht fachgerecht
repariert, kann keine Haftung für daraus resultie-
rende Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine

3 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
und Ausstattung
Der BA-15100 ist ein leistungsstarker Bassverstär-
ker (100 W) für den Einsatz auf der Bühne. Mit sei-
nem 15"-Lautsprecher liefert er ein solides Funda-
ment, kann aber durch den zusätzlichen Hochtöner
auch mit klaren Höhen dienen. Durch die vielfältigen
Klangeinstellmöglichkeiten, die der SHAPE-Regler
und der schaltbare 7-Band-Equalizer bieten, wird er
jeder musikalischen Stilrichtung gerecht.
Ein symmetrischer Line-Ausgang ermöglicht den
Anschluss des Verstärkers an das Mischpult einer
PA-Anlage oder zu Aufnahmezwecken. Außerdem
steht ein Ausgang für einen zusätzlichen Lautspre-
cher und ein Kopfhöreranschluss zum stillen Üben
zur Verfügung. Der schaltbare Kompressor mit sei-
nem einstellbaren Kompressionsgrad verhilft dem
Bass zu einem ausgeglicheneren, druckvolleren
Klang.

The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accord-
ance with the following code:
green/yellow = earth
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug,
proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured green and yellow must
be connected to the terminal in the plug which is
marked with the letter E or by the earth symbol
or coloured green or green and yellow.
2. The wire which is coloured blue must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
3. The wire which is coloured brown must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.
Warning - This appliance must be earthed.
If the unit is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which is not harmful
to the environment.
3 Applications and Features
The BA-15100 is a powerful bass amplifier (100 W)
for stage applications. With its 15" speaker, it
provides a solid basis, but it also offers clear high
frequencies by means of the additional tweeter. Due
to its versatile possibilities of sound adjustment
provided by the SHAPE control and the switchable
7-band equalizer, the amplifier will meet the require-
ments of any style of music.
