Cutting
Place the cutting torch with the adjusted heating flame onto the

material to be cut
Once the material has achieved white heat, open the
•
cutting oxygen valve (4)
Move the cutting torch smoothly by a drawing movement, if possible
•
Smooth and even handling ensures a clean cut
•
In case of thinner materials, the torch should be moved more
•
quickly, for thicker materials a lower speed should be selected
Do not reduce the cutting and heating oxygen valves (4), (2)
•
during the cutting process
Make sure that:
•
◦ The manometer indicates constant pressure, otherwise readjust
◦ The slag can get out of the gap
◦ There is a consistent sound without burble
Close the cutting oxygen valve (4) after cutting
