4 Putting the Torch into Operation

Observe the safety instructions on page 17
•
Connect the heating oxygen hose to the oxygen connector (6)
•
Open the oxygen valves (2), (4) while adjusting the gas regulator to the
•
oxygen pressure specified at page 20
Check the suction effect as explained on page 17
•
Close the valves (2), (3) and (4)
•
Connect the fuel gas hose to the fuel gas connector (5)

Torch Ignition

Open the heating oxygen valve (2)
•
Do a half-turn on the fuel gas valve (3)
•
Ignite the out coming gas in front of the nozzle (1)
•
Open the cutting oxygen valve (4)
•
Adjust the heating oxygen valve (2) and the fuel gas valve (3) for getting
•
a neutral flame with a sharp inner cone
Close the cutting oxygen valve (4)
