MWW Cutting Torch Brenner 90 - General Information

1 General Information

For autogenous gas cutting, the material (unalloyed steel with 0.3 % carbon
max.) is heated with a heating flame at the cutting point until incandescence is
reached. When opening the cutting oxygen valve and moving the cutting torch
forward at the same time, the oxygen stream blows the liquefied material out
from the kerf.
The Brenner 90 is an injector-type torch, meaning that fuel gas and oxygen are
mixed in the mixing nozzle. The resulting gas mixture is led to the head of the
torch. This hand cutting torch is provided with replaceable monoblock valves.
The cutting range is from 5 mm up to 300 mm, depending on the cutting nozzle.
The Brenner 90 Special is a special version of the Brenner 90. With its optimised
oxygen flow rate, it is designed to provide cutting ranges of up to 500 mm. The
modifications are listed below:
Mixing nozzle with a greater inner diameter
