Trouble Shooting
Problem
No image to
see on the
monitor
Blurred image
Image too dark
Possible cause
- Unit without electrical
voltage
- Video entrance not
chosen correctly
- Camera cable not
connected or defect
- Light guide not
connected or defect
- Unknown
- Image is not brought
into focus
- Endoscope tip dirty
Solution
- Make sure that the unit is
connected to power
supply and mains
- Make sure that the came-
ra is connected correctly
with the monitor
- Make sure that the came-
ra head is connected to
the smartbox and that
the camera plug shows no
humidity
- Make sure that the light
guide is connected to the
light source and to the
light guide entrance at
the endoscope
- Send unit to nearest
service point
- Turn the focussing of the
camera head until the
image is brought into
focus
- Clean the endoscope tip
- Check light source
- Re-do white balance if
necessary
- Check window function
