MEASUREMENT WARNINGS
Do not eat, smoke or perform intense physical activity
for at least 30 minutes before performing the
measurement.
Before measuring your blood pressure, relax for about
5/10 minutes.
You should not talk or move while measuring your
blood pressure.
Uncover the wrist to be used for the measurement and
make certain that your hand and arm are not
subjected to tension or pressure.
Position the device on your wrist, as shown in Figure,
on the arterial side.
Tighten the wristband, leaving sufficient space for your
index finger to pass underneath, at about 1-2 cm from
the wrist joint, as shown in Figure.
Always perform the measurements on the same wrist,
since changing arms may result in substantial
differences.
Before repeating a measurement, wait at least 3
minutes for your circulation to restabilize.
This device should not be used by persons who suffer
from cardiac arrhythmia.
During the measurements, avoid electromagnetic
interference with cellphones, electric razors,
microwave ovens, etc.
For greater precision in the blood pressure and pulse
rate measurement, the device should be used in direct
contact with your skin.
