Operation and configuration

Dynamic DNS

If your provider has not issued a fixed IP address, you can set up
remote access to the device via an external service. Various provid-
ers exist that offer a dynamic DNS service.
NOTE
► You will need a user account at dyndns.org (http://www.
dyndns.org) before you can begin with the setup
The following explains the settings for the dyndns.org provider.
Activate DDNS
 Click the "Use" button to save the new settings to the device.

Select "activate" to switch on the dynamic
DNS function and "deactivate" to switch
it off.
Select the dynamic DNS Service provider
Provider here. Currently only dyndns.org is avail-
able.
Enter the the dynamic DNS host name
Host name
here.
Enter the corresponding user name for
the DynDns account.
User name
Enter the corresponding password for the
DynDns user account here.
Enter the domain name for your DynDns
