4.8 SAFETY DEVICES

The machine has the following safety devices:
Engine shutdown (Motorstop)
The lever n.7 fig.1, that controls engine shutdown, must be held down when
working with the machine. If the handlebars are accidentally left, the engine will
automatically stop.
This lever can be locked with retainer n.2 fig.2, can only be used to work with
the PTO running and the machine in a fixed position (irrigation).
PTO cut-out
The machine has an automatic device that prevents the PTO being engaged at
the same time as the reverse gear during normal working direction (cultivating).
This device may only be disengaged when the machine is used as an
agricultural engine.
WARNING! These safeties must be kept in perfect working condition.
If they do not work as they should, replace them ordering the parts from your
closest Goldoni Technical Assistance Centre!

5. MAINTENANCE - CLEANING - LUBRICATION

5.1 ENGINE

(Refer to the Engine Instruction Manual).

5.2 FILLING WITH OIL/GREASE

5.2.1 Gearbox

Check level through plug n.3 fig.4
It is advisable to use AGIP ROTRA MP SAE 80W/90 oil.
First oil change, after the first 50-60 hours.
Change oil every 800 hours. Amount required: 3 kg approx.
Fill with oil through plug n.3 fig.4
Oil drain: plug n.1 fig.8

5.2.2 Greasing

Every 50-60 hours grease the two brake levers on the handlebars and the
grease nipple on the handlebar swivel flange on the gearbox casing.
It is advisable to use AGIP GR LP2 grease.
