When you are bathing your child:
•
Stay in the bathroom.
•
Do not answer the phone.
•
Do not answer the door when someone rings the doorbell.
•
If you have to leave the bathroom, always take your child with you.
•
Children can drown very quickly and can do so in very low water (approx. 2cm).
•
The bath support offers no protection against drowning. Children have drowned in the bath.
•
If you have no option but to leave the room, then always take your child with you.
•
Do not use when your child can sit independently.
•
Always make sure the baby bath is positioned on a stable surface.
•
Always check the water's temperature before putting your child in the bath.
•
Make sure the bath support has been set up properly and has been effectively secured to the baby bath.
•
Never fill the bath passed the level indicated on the aquasit (B).
•
Never fill the bath up using the tap whilst your child is in the baby bath.
•
Make sure your child can't reach the tap whilst bathing.
•
The bath support can be used for children up to a maximum weight of 9 kg.
•
The bath support can no longer be used when the suction pad cup isn't working any more.

We recommend using a bébé-jou baby bath (2,3), but the bath support could possibly also be used with other types of
baby bath. Please do pay careful attention to the measurements and stability.
Cleaning. You can easily remove the bath support from the baby bath by pulling on the suction pad's tab (B). Clean the bath
support with lukewarm water and mild soap and subsequently dry it with a cloth. Never use chemical cleaning agents. Never
store the bath support in such a way that the suction pad can become deformed.

Manual el apoyo de baño del bebé 172 (1) de bébé-jou. Leer las instrucciones detenidamente antes de su uso y mantener-
las para futuras consultas. Su hijo puede resultar herido si no sigue las instrucciones.
El apoyo de baño del bebé. El apoyo de baño del bebé ofrece un apoyo cómodo a su bebé y permite que se mantenga
estable en el baño, con su cabeza hacia arriba.
Instrucciones de uso. Tenga en cuenta que los bebés (desde su nacimiento hasta los 9 meses) son especialmente
vulnerables. Asegúrese por lo tanto, de no dejarle nunca solo/a y sujétele siempre mientras se baña. Ponga el apoyo de baño
del bebé en la bañera para bebés (A). Oprima la ventosa para que se fije bien y compruébelo levantando un poco el apoyo
de baño del bebé (B). Después de eso llene la bañera para bebés con agua hasta el nivel indicado en el apoyo de baño del
bebé. Preocúpese de que el agua no esté demasiado caliente. La temperatura ideal para el agua del baño oscila entre 35 y
37 grados (99 ºF). Durante las primeras semanas es importante que los hombros de su bebé también estén bajo el agua, para
que no se enfríen. No bañe a su bebé durante mucho tiempo y séquelo bien. Preocúpese de que su bebé mantenga su calor y
evite grandes diferencias de temperatura.

ATENCIÓN! No dejar nunca al niño desatendido.
Cuando se bañe vuestro hijo:
•
Permaneced en el baño.
•
No contestad el teléfono.
•
No abrid la puerta cuando alguien toca el timbre.
•
Cuando tened que dejar el baño, siempre llevad vuestro hijo con usted.
•
Los bebés pueden ahogarse muy rápidamente y en muy poca agua (± 2 cm)
•
El apoyo de baño del bebé no ofrece ninguna protección contra el ahogamiento. Y hay bebés que se han ahogado en la
bañera.
•
Si debe abandonar la habitación necesariamente, lleve a su bebé consigo.
•
No utilice el aquasit, cuando su bebé pueda sentarse por sí solo.
•
Preocúpese siempre de que la bañera esté sobre una superficie estable.
•
Controle siempre la temperatura del agua, antes de meter a su bebé en ella.
•
Preocúpese de que el apoyo de baño del bebé esté bien ajustado y esté firme en la bañera para bebés.
•
No llene nunca el baño más allá del nivel indicado en el apoyo de baño del bebé (B).
•
Nunca llene la bañera con el grifo, cuando su bebé está dentro de la bañera.
•
Preocúpese de que su bebé no pueda alcanzar el grifo durante el baño.
•
El apoyo de baño del bebé se puede usar para bebés de 9 kilos, como máximo.
•
Si la ventosa no funciona, no use más el apoyo de baño del bebé.
•
Recomendamos usar una bañera para bebés de bébé-jou (2,3), pero eventualmente puede colocar el apoyo de baño del
bebé en otro tipo de bañera para bebé. En ese caso, ponga atención en las medidas y la estabilidad.
Limpieza. Puede sacar sencillamente el apoyo de baño del bebé de la bañera para bebés, levantando el labio de la ventosa
