FCX ACB - FAN COIL
Congratulations on your purchase of the Aermec FCX ACB fan coil.
Made with materials of superior quality in strict compliance with safety regulations, the "FCX ACB" is easy to use
and will have a long life.
The FCX ACB is a fan coil with electronic thermostat
and simplified functions, tall cabinet for vertical
installation, varnished with corrosion-resistant polyester
powder, RAL 9002. The delivery grille and the feet for
floor-standing solutions (ZX accessory) are made of
plastic and in RAL 7044.
The FCX ACB fan coil has been designed for systems
with 2 pipes with or without water shut-off valve.
After a power failure, the fan coil restarts at the pre-set
mode.
The FCX ACB fan coil concentrates high technological
and functional characteristics that make it the ideal
climate control unit for all types of rooms.
The supply of climate controlled air is immediate and
distributed throughout the room; The FCX ACB fan coil
generates heat if included in a heating system with boiler
or heat pump but may also be used in summer as an air
conditioner if the heating system has a water chiller.
The response to the commands is immediate if
the room temperature so allows; the control of the
temperature of the water in the system is not foreseen.
The removable drip tray and fan volute ensure thorough
cleaning of the unit (by specifically trained personnel),
essential for installations in venues subject to crowding
or in those with special hygiene requirements.

FUNCTIONING CHARACTERISTICS
The FCX-ACB fan coils are supplied ready to operate in the
standard configuration but they allow the installer to adapt
them to the specific needs of the system with dedicated
accessories.
The response to the controls is immediate.
System types
FCX-ACB fan coils have been designed for systems with 2
pipes, in the following versions:
- without valve;
- with a two-way valve;
- with a three-way valve;

such that at normal speed of use you cannot hear when
the FCX ACB cuts in. The use of the electronic control
panel avoids the annoying noise typical of mechanical
thermostats.
The control panel is located under the flap with grille on
the right or left side of the fan coil.
The panel can be protected against tampering, by locking
the cover flap with a screw.
The control panel with electronic thermostat controls
the operating functions of the fan coil to keep the
set temperature in the room, allows the temperature
electronic adjustment, manual fan speed change. The
heating or cooling functioning mode (season change) is
manually set.
The FCX ACB fan coil has been designed to meet all
system requirements thanks to its extensive range of
accessories.
Easy installation with reversible hydraulic connections
during installation.
Full respect for accident prevention regulations.
Routine maintenance is reduced to periodic air filter
cleaning with a vacuum cleaner.

Ventilation
The three-speed ventilation can be controlled either manually
with the selector in V1, V2 and V3 positions (the fan is used
with cycles of coming on and off at the selected speed).
Season change
Users decides on the season change by selecting the
functioning mode operating the switch on the control panel.
Valve control
The (accessory) valve is opened or closed when the fan is
turned on or off.
