Quick guide

Switching on Speedview:
press and hold the receiver unit button until the
green Led light flashes. Let go of the button. the
Led will continue to flash at a steady rate. the
motor will also perform one turn to confirm the unit is
powered up and ready for use.
8.
Software Reset after reloading new Speedroll
when loading a nEw speedroll the software will
need to be reset to allow up to 40 new clears per
roll. press and hold the receiver unit button until the
Led flashes rapidly. immediately release the button.
the motor will perform one turn to confirm your
speedview has now been reset.
(This musT be done after every speedroll reload.)

Switching Off Speedview:
press and hold the button on the receiver until the
green Led turns red and flashes rapidly. release the
button to switch of your speedview.
10. Speedview Fail Safe:
a single, short press of the receiver unit button will
activate the motor for one vision clear.
(a fail safe in case you are separated from your bike
and speedbutton at any time.)
11. Synching Speedview:
11.1 speedview will need to be manually sync'd when:
1.
Batteries from receiver or transmitter unit are being
replaced
2.
an additional headset is required to be used with the
original transmitter. (note that up to two headsets/
receivers may be sync'd to a single transmitter)
11.2 To sync your speedview system perform the
following steps:
1.
while the receiver unit is still on press the receiver
Unit button for 3 seconds until the flashing green
lED goes constant.
2.
immediately press the speedbutton attached to the
Transmitter unit BEForE the lED turns red.
3.
the green Led will start flashing rapidly (this will
assure you that you have not switched the system off)
4.
release the receiver Button FirsT and the
speedbutton sEconD. The motor will perform one
turn to confirm the receiver and transmitter Units
are sync'd.
5.
Press your speedbutton once to confirm the system
has been correctly sync'd. the motor will perform
one full clear to confirm this.

Speedview Aftercare:
•
optimum operating temperatures: -10 - +40
Degrees celsius. outside this range will mean that
batteries do not perform at their optimum efficiency
and battery life may suffer.
•
the receiver Units Led will flash red to indicate
the lithium-ion Battery is running low on power.
we recommend that you immediately replace
this battery.
•
ensure that the Lithium-ion battery pack is replaced
every 6-8 months.
•
A speedroll will give the user up to 40 view clearings
which is 40 button presses. Ensure you have enough
roll available every time you go out on track.
•
speedview is designed to be used onLy with
speedrolls.
•
replacement speedrolls and Lithium-ion battery
packs can be purchased direct from
www.redravenracing.com or from any authorised
redraven dealer. please refer to our website for a
list of authorised dealers.
•
new speedroll films and Lithium-ion battery Packs
should be stored in a cool, dry place.
•
ensure that the transmitter Unit batteries are
replaced at least every 12 months.
•
ensure that all terminals are clean and free of mud,
corrosion, dirt and debris at least once a month as
poor connections may affect system performance.
•
Make sure the speedviews internal Ptfe Mud
slider is cleaned after every use.
•
redraven recommend replacing the internal Mud
slider after every 12 rolls of film used.
•
ensure the motor drive unit is free from dirt debris
and water before every speedroll change.
•
redraven recommend using a small toothbrush to
clean speedview inside and out.
•
Make sure you dispose of your speedrolls
responsibly.
•
Make sure you dispose of expired batteries
responsibly.
•
store speedview in a cool, dry place when not
in use.
•
do not power wash the speedview Goggle Unit.
•
do not directly power wash the transmitter Unit.
•
Please clean the Lens thoroughly prior to use with
Microfibre cloth included.
•
should the neoprene pouch prove over tight please
relax with a hairdryer on a low setting.
