16. Fan/box settings

Reboot your controller. After a few seconds the boot
menu is displayed. Select "Box selection":

You enter the box menu (fan menu):

=> Custom

Select the brand of your box by turning the PTK. Press
the PTK to confirm and continue with section 16.2.
If your brand does not show, choose the "Custom"
option. Press the PTK to confirm and to enter the next
screen.

16.1 Custom menu

Set box to desired
minimum speed.
Push to proceed.

The fan is not running or very slowly. Slowly turn the
PTK until the fan runs at 10% of its maximum speed.
You set this as the minimum speed.
Confirm by pressing the PTK. You will enter the next
screen:
Set box to desired
maximum speed.
Push to proceed.

Now, adjust the fan to the desired maximum speed,
which is 90% of the maximum capacity. First, let the fan
run at maximum speed and then slightly turn back the
PTK until the fan runs at 90% of its capacity.
Press the PTK to confirm.

The box is now

Press the PTK again to enter the next screen:
Set the time between
changing the power
level of the box.

Turn until the desired interval is reached (up to 250
seconds).
For small spaces we recommend to select a short
interval (5-10 seconds), and for large spaces a
somewhat longer interval. If the temperature keeps
fluctuating with the current settings, you can change
the interval. If the temperature often increases too high,
it is recommended to shorten the interval. If the
temperature often falls too low, it is recommended to
increase the interval.
Confirm by pressing the PTK.
You return to the boot menu.

Select >> HOME << and press the PTK to return to the
main screen.

16.2 Brand menu

If you do not use the "Custom menu" (section 16.1),
then select the brand of your box and confirm by
pressing the PTK.

Select the type of fan (m 3 ) by turning the PTK.
