ton, the equalizer can be bridged (switched off), if
desired. With the equalizer controls LOW (bass fre-
quencies), MID (mid-frequencies) and HI (high fre-
quencies) adjust the desired sound. With the con-
trols in mid-position the sound is not affected.
By pressing the button SUB-BOOST (5) it is pos-
sible to boost the lower bass range, if required.
With the sub-boost function switched on, the LED
next to the button lights up.
7) Subsonic sound or other low-frequency inter-
ference can be suppressed by connecting the sub-
sonic filter: Press the button SUBSONIC (14). With
the filter switched on, the LED next to the button
lights up.
8) When setting up several speaker systems, the
sound waves of the systems may show a different
phase. This may cause undesired attenuation of
certain frequencies. To balance this, the active
speaker system has a phase reversal switch, the
button PHASE (12), by which the phase of the
audio signal can be turned by 180°. Test both posi-
tions of the button – pressed (LED next to it lights
up) or disengaged – and choose that position which
offers the best reproduction.
9) After operation of the unit, switch it off with the
POWER switch, and when using a wireless micro-
phone remember to switch it off as well otherwise
the batteries will be exhausted the next time the
microphone is used.
