Kraft oder der Laufgrenze ist der TA 70 erneut zu überprüfen.
Eine falsche Einstellung des Öffnungsmechanismuses kann
ernsthafte Verletzungen oder den Tod verursachen!
- Die Funktion der zusätzlich eingebauten Zubehörteile
(z. B. Lichtschranke).
- Alle Schraubverbindungen auf festen Halt prüfen.
- Das Garagentor und den Garagentorantrieb auf Verschleiß,
Defekt oder ungenügende Balance (z. B. Federn, Befestig-
ungsteile oder Kabel) prüfen.

11. Wichtige Anweisungen für sichere Montage
ACHTUNG - Falsche Montage kann zu ernsthaften Verletz-
ungen führen. Alle Montageanweisungen befolgen!
Nur an einem richtig ausgerichtetem Garagentor montieren.
Ein falsch ausgerichtetes Tor könnte ernsthafte Verletzungen
verursachen. Nur ausgebildetes Wartungspersonal
Reparaturen an Leitungen, Federbaugruppen und anderen
Bauelementen des Gleichgewichtssystems ausführen lassen,
bevor der Öffnungsmechanismus installiert wird.
Vor Montage des Öffnungsmechanismuses alle Seile und alle
Verrieglungen entfernen der unwirksam machen, es sei denn,
sie werden von dem an das Garagentor angeschlossenen
Öffnungsmechanismus betrieben.
Wenn möglich, den Toröffner 2,1 Meter oder mehr oberhalb
des Fußbodens anbringen, den Notauslöser 1,8 Meter
oberhalb des Fußbodens.
Anordnung bei Verwendung eines Tasters, a: in Sichtweite
des Tores, b: in einer Mindesthöhe von 1,5 Metern, so dass
kleine Kinder ihn nicht erreichen können und c: entfernt von
allen sich bewegenden Teilen des Tores.
Nach Montage des Öffnungsmechanismuses muss das Tor
zurücklaufen, wenn es einen auf dem Boden liegenden 50
mm hohen Gegenstand berührt.
Nach der Montage ist sicherzustellen, dass Teile des Tores
nicht in öffentliche Fußwege oder Straßen hineinragen.

Öffnungsbewegung verhindert oder anhält, wenn das Tor mit
einer Masse von 20 kg belastet wird, die in der Mitte der
Unterkante des Tores befestigt ist (für Antriebe, die mit einen
Tor eingesetzt werden können, das Öffnungen im Torflügel
mit einem Durchmesser größer 50 mm hat).
6. Functions

closing, it will stop and be freed of load. The next signal
impulse will cause the door to move in the opposite direction.
The door can be stopped in any intermediate position by
sending an impulse.

The self-locking drive holds the door in the closed position.
All side door locks must be removed.
For additional security, we recommend the springloaded door
catch set (see accessories).
The door can be unlocked via the emergency release, then
operated by hand.
The integrated lighting is automatically switched on by the
signal impulse for approx. 2,5 min.
7. Important Notes
Carefully follow the mounting and operation instructions.

Pay strict attention to Section 15 „Starting operation"
The TA 70 garage door opener is for use in the private
sector only! Any other use is in contravention of the con-
ditions for use.
Mains connections must only be made by qualified electricians
(not included in service).
Unplug the mains cable when removing the housing cover or
when working on the drive unit.
Only use light bulbs up to 25 W.
Only activate the door opener when the garage door is in full
view and the swing-out area is clear.
Only drive in and out of the garage when the garage door is
fully open.
Keep the garage door block on the ground clean (free of snow,
ice, stones, etc.).
If the obstacle cut-out triggers at low temperatures due to
the material inertia of the garage door, you will have to
repeat the teach-in routine for the end positions "Door
close" and "Door open" (section 15.1).
Only install in dry rooms - do not spray with water.
The emergency release must always be installed for
garages that do not have a second access point. (14.11)
If a fault occurs or a dangerous situation arises, open the door
by hand.
In an automobile, hold the transmitter as close as
possible to the windshield. Press the switch for at least 1
second.
Never place your hands in the guiding rails when the door
opener is installed; they may be caught and crushed.
Checking the door/door assembly: The drive is not designed
for operating doors that are difficult to open and close by
hand.
For this reason, the door assembly must be
checked to ensure
easily opened by hand. To do the
raise the door approx. 1 m, then let go. The door should
remain fixed in the position at which you left it i.e. neither move
down nor up. If the door does in fact move in one of the two
directions, there is a danger that the compensating springs are
not properly set. If such is the case, the door assembly will be
subjected to increased wear and there will be more
malfunctions.
Caution: lethal hazard! Do not attempt to replace, repair or
offset the compensating springs (or their mountings) that are
responsible for counteracting the weight of the door. The
reason for this is that the springs are under tension and can
cause serious injury if they are modified in any way. Also check
the entire door assembly (joints, door bearings, cable, springs
and mounting parts) for wear and possible damage. Check to
see if any rust, corrosion or cracks are present. Do not use the
door assembly when repairs and adjustment work are in need
of being carried out, as a fault in the door assembly or an
improperly aligned door can likewise lead to severe injuries.
Note: For your own personal safety, prior to installing the drive,
allow your professional garage door repair service to perform
work on the compensating springs of the door and, if
necessary, carry out any other maintenance and repair work.
8. Maintenance:
Ensure that the cable for decoupling the door is not defective
and that it is properly adjusted.
The chain tension should be checked twice annually and
readjusted. (The chain should be slack but not droop.) You
must repeat the teach-in routine for the end positions (section
15.1).

Dirt deposits/cobwebs on the meter wheel (Item 20 in the Re-
placement Parts List) should be cleaned away, e.g. with com-
pressed air. This will help to prevent a shift in the end posi-
tions.
