Risk of electric shock!
Defective electric installations, excessive mains voltage, or moisture can cause
electric shock.
• The device must not be immersed in water or any other liquids.
• On top of that, always disconnect the power adapter from the wall socket
before cleaning the device.
• Make sure no water will enter the device and/or the power adapter; oth-
erwise there is a risk of electric shock when turning on the device the next
time.
• Never immerse the device in water.
Risk of injury!
Improper handling of the device can cause injury.
• Do not replace the attachments and do not touch them with the power
unit turned on.
There is a risk of hazards due to improper handling!
Improper handling of the device can cause damage.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agent, sharp or metal cleaning objects
such as knives, hard trowel, or similar. Those can damage surfaces.
• Never clean the device in a dishwasher. It would get destroyed.
• Clean the device after each use.
1. Before cleaning, make sure the power unit 1 is turned off.
2. Disconnect the power adapter 14 from the mains.
3. Disconnect the power unit from the power adapter by unplugging the
connection cable 15 from the socket 13.
4. Let the device cool down completely.
5. Before cleaning, disconnect the respective attachment 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or
12 from the power unit.
6. Wipe the power unit, power adapter and storage pouch 16 with a slightly
damp cloth.
7. Tap the sapphire discs 6 and 7 in order to remove polishing dust from the
socket.
8. Clean the attachments with a suitable paintbrush, a suitable soft brush, or a
dry cloth.
9. Let all parts dry completely before putting them away in the storage pouch.
