Risk of injury!
Improper handling of the device can cause injury.
• Do not replace the attachments and do not touch them with the power
unit turned on.
• Before connecting the power adapter to the wall socket, check whether the
power unit is turned off and the power/function switch is at center posi-
tion.
• Turn the power unit off after each use and disconnect it from the mains.
• Pull the attachment from the power unit and store all accessories in the
storage pouch after cleaning.
You may use the device in clockwise or anticlockwise rotation mode, de-
pending on your own requirements. That means, that both right-handed and
left-handed people can use the device. Adjust the rotational speed infinitely by
using the buttons 'up' 2 and 'down' 3.
1. Make sure the desired attachment 6 , 7 , 8 , 9 , 10 , 11 or 12 has been in-
stalled to the power unit 1, as described in chapter "Installing attachments".
2. Make sure the power unit has been connected to the mains properly, as
described in chapter "Connecting the manicure/pedicure set".
3. Press the power/function switch 5:
• To turn on the power unit in clockwise rotation mode, slide the power/
function switch to the right.
The indicator light 4 lights up green. The attachment starts rotating in
clockwise direction.
• To turn on the power unit in anticlockwise rotation mode, slide the
power/function switch to the left.
The indicator light lights up red. The attachment starts rotating in anti-
clockwise direction.
The LED light 18 for illuminating the application area turns on, once there is
a rotary movement (see fig. D).
4. Increase the speed by pressing the button 'up' 2.
• To increase the speed infinitely, press the 'up' button longer, until the
desired speed setting is reached. For fine adjustment, press the 'up'
button briefly.
