1. Make sure the power unit 1 is turned off and the power/function switch 5 is
at center position (see fig. C).
2. Select the desired attachment 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12 (see chapter "Selecting
the correct attachment").
3. Insert the attachment into the mount 17. If needed, slightly turn it until it
fits securely in the mount (see fig. B). The attachment will click into place.
4. Check the attachment for secure fit.

Connecting the manicure/pedicure set

Risk of injury!
If you connect the device to a mains voltage other than the one indicated on
the rating plate of the power adapter, or if you use a power adapter of any oth-
er type, there is a risk of electric shock.
• Only use the power adapter provided.
• Before use, check whether the voltage of the wall socket conforms to the
specifications on the rating plate.
• Before connecting the power adapter to the wall socket, check whether the
power unit is turned off and the power/function switch is at center posi-
tion.
You may only use the device, if the power unit 1 is connected to a wall socket
using the power adapter 14 included in the delivery scope. To do so, proceed as
followed:
1. Insert the desired attachment 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12 to the power unit as
described in chapter "Installing attachments".
2. Make sure the power unit is turned off and the power/function switch 5 is
at center position (see fig. C).
3. Plug the connection cable 15 of the power adapter into the socket 13 of
the power unit. The plug will click into place.
4. Connect the power adapter to the wall socket.
5. Turn the power unit on by sliding the power/function switch to the left or
right. Let the power unit run for a few seconds, to make sure it can reach its
full power.
