Security Information

This product is capable of receiving automatic security updates from Bose. To receive automatic security
updates, you must complete the product setup process in the Bose Music app and connect the product to
the Internet. If you do not complete the setup process, you will be responsible for installing security
updates that Bose makes available.

To view the license disclosures that apply to the third party software packages included as components of your Bose
Home Speaker 300 product:
1. On the speaker, tap and hold the Volume up button H and the Volume down button z for 5 seconds.
2. Connect a micro-USB cable to the micro-USB connector on the bottom of the speaker.
3. Connect the other end of the cable to a computer.
4. On the computer, enter http://203.0.113.1/opensource in a browser window to display the EULA and
license disclosure.
