1. Safety instructions

1.1. Technical personnel

The torque adjuster described here works with dangerous contact voltages. Touching parts conducting
voltage can cause severe injuries to health. Therefore the installation, the start-up, the maintenance and
repair of the unit may be performed only by technical personnel trained for this.

1.2. Use as prescribed

The unit has been developed, manufactured, tested and documented in accordance with the relevant
standards. In use as prescribed no risks for persons or things arise from the unit. Use as prescribed
presupposes that the unit is used exclusively in the manner described here.
Use as described includes observing the relevant regulations regarding safety engineering and
electromagnetic compatibility in the use of the unit.
GEORGII KOBOLD undertakes no liability for direct damage or consequential damage resulting from
misuse of the unit.

1.3. Hazard notes

Because of its design and connection system, the torque adjuster may be operated only in an enclosed
housing or switchgear cabinet. Moisture condensation on the unit is not permissible.
