Safety notes for lithium batteries
Fire fighting
• In the event of a fire, put your own safety first and move away from the danger area.
• Toxic and flammable gases can be produced and released during a fire or during the
extinguishing process.
• Call the fire brigade in the event of a fire.
• Batteries can explode in a fire.
• Suitable extinguishing agents are:
- Extinguishing powder (fire class D for metal fires)
- dry sand or large quantities of water for individual batteries
• Unsuitable extinguishing agents are:
- Carbon dioxide
- small quantities of water can have an oxidising effect"
DISPOSAL
• For the purposes of disposal, the device is considered a used electronics device in the
sense of the European Guideline 2012/19/EU (WEEE) and must not be disposed of with
household waste. Local and currently valid legislation must be heeded. Please note the
disposal instructions on the QUNDIS website.
Safety and warranty
Intended use
The mobile data collector Q log 5.5 serves the central collection and forwarding
of consumption information from the meters, which are fitted in a property. The
Q log 5.5 forwards the consumption information directly to a mobile computer.
The Q log 5.5 may on be used for this purpose.
Improper use
Any use other than the use described previously and any changes made to the
device constitute improper use. Uses and changes must be queried in writing
beforehand and are subject to special approval.
Warranty and guarantee
Warranty and guarantee claims are only valid if the parts in question have been
used in accordance with their intended use and if the technical requirements
and any applicable technical regulations have been observed.
