Thermostatic cartridge
(Only in conjunction with wall-mounting box 36 009.)
I. Non-return valve
1. Remove thermostat (V), see Fig. [15].
2. Remove filter (W1) and seals (W2).
3. Unscrew and remove nipple (W) using an 8mm allen
key (left-hand thread).
4. Remove nut (X).
5. Remove non-return valve (Y).
II.Thermostatic cartridge
1. Remove cap (Q), see Fig.[16].
2. Remove stop ring (R) and scale ring (S).
3. Remove thermostatic cartridge (T) using a 22mm
open-ended spanner.
Readjustment is necessary after every maintenance operation
on the thermostatic cartridge (see section "Adjusting").
Assemble in reverse order.

Water not flowing • Water supply interrupted
• Filter in solenoid valve blocked
• No voltage (indicator lamp does not flash)
• Diaphragm defective
• Solenoid valve defective
• Electronics defective (indicator lamp does
not flash or permanently on)
• Plug-in connector of solenoid valve
without contact
Indicator lamp • Transformer defective (indicator lamp,
flashes see Fig. [17] does not flash)
• Cleaning mode active
Water flowing • Diaphragm blocked
continuously • Solenoid valve defective
Undesired water flow • The sensor system detection zone
extends beyond the basin
Flow rate too low • Dirty filters / flow straightener or defective
diaphragm
• Isolating valve not fully open
• Water supply restricted
Water temperature • Flow temperature incorrectly set
too high or too low • Dirty filters or defective non-return valve
(only 36 009)
In order to ensure long-term protection from scalding, it is
necessary to perform a safety check on the fitting at least
once a year,
1. Check that the pre-adjusted outlet temperature
is not exceeded.
If the temperature has been exceeded, it must be
readjusted.
2. Check if the safety shut-off is working:
- Open fitting.
- Close cold water isolating valve.
- The amount of water now escaping must be no more than
a thin trickle of water. If this is not the case, the thermostatic
cartridge (47 574) must be replaced.
