5) Reinstall the front cover of the housing and adjust the unit.
GB
For this purpose, slightly release the hinge screws of the
wall bracket until the hinges can be moved. After adjust-
ment in horizontal and vertical direction, fix the position by
fastening the hinge screws.
4 Connection
4.1 Connecting the microphone and the camera
1) Connect the BNC video output (3) to the video input, and
connect the phono audio output (4) to the audio input of the
subsequent unit (e. g. monitor, video recorder, video splitter).
2) For power supply, connect the low voltage connector (5)
– drill hole Ø 5.5 mm, centre contact Ø 2.1 mm – to an elec-
tronically regulated 12 V power supply unit. The positive
pole is at the centre contact of the connector.
4.2 Connecting the motion detector
1) Connect the two terminals "NC" on the left to the anti-tam-
pering line of an alarm control panel. This line will detect
tampering actions on the unit: If someone tries to open the
housing, the anti-tampering switching contact ("SW1" in
fig. 2) will open the circuit, and an alarm will be triggered.
2) A relay with NO contact serves as alarm output, i. e. the two
central terminals "NO". The relay responds in case of
movement detected and thus activates any connected
units. It is possible to connect the alarm output e. g. to the
alarm input of a video recorder or video splitter or to further
8
alarm devices (e. g. telephone dialling unit, lighting installa-
tion).
3) Connect the power supply (12 V ) for the motion detector
to the two terminals "+" and "-" on the right. It is essential to
observe the correct polarity.

5 Adjusting the Motion Detector

Pulse evaluation, sensivity, and alarm time can be adjusted on
the PCB of the motion detector (see fig. 2):
1) The pulse evaluation of the motion detector is defined via
the jumper "J2".
jumper placed on plug contact "1":
The detector evaluates one pulse, i. e. an alarm is trig-
gered upon the first detection of movement.
jumper placed on plug contact "2":
The detector evaluates two pulses, i. e. an alarm is not
triggered until the second detection of movement. In this
case, the period between the first and the second detec-
tion of movement must not exceed 15 s.
2) The sensitivity of the detector can be continuously increas-
ed or reduced via the control "VR1". To increase the sensi-
tivity, turn the control clockwise by means of a small screw-
driver, to reduce the sensitivity turn the control in opposite
direction.
3) The alarm time, i. e. the switching time of the relay, is con-
tinuously adjustable via the control "VR2".
To reduce the alarm time, turn the control clockwise by
means of a small screwdriver, to extend the alarm time,
