The head height can be adjusted by moving the
plastic pin on the top headband (8).
7.4 Setting the sensitivity (Fig. 6)
The light sensitivity when the automatic welding

8. Cleaning, maintenance and ordering
of spare parts
8.1 Cleaning
Keep the automatic welding screen free of dirt
and dust as far as possible. Rub the device with
a clean cloth or use a slightly damp cloth and a
little lubricating soap. Do not use cleaning agents
or solvents; these may be aggressive to the
plastic parts in the appliance.
We recommend that you clean the appliance
immediately after you use it.
Ensure that no water can get into the interior of
the tool.
8.2 Cleaning the fabric cover on the front
headband (Figure 7)
The front headband (Item 10) can be removed for
cleaning. Remove the two plastic buttons from the
appropriate openings and remove the front
headband as shown in Figure 6. Clean the front
headband (Item 10) with a little lubricating soap
under running water.
8.3 Servicing
Dispose of soiled maintenance material and
operating materials at the appropriate collection
point.
8.4 Replacing the safety screen (Fig. 8 – 9/Item 2)
There is a trough handle below the safety screen. To
remove the safety screen glass, reach into this and
remove the safety screen (Item 2) forwards.
To insert the new safety screen, push it together
slightly and press it behind the four retaining pins
(Item G).
The safety screen is made of flexible material and
can easily be bent, but do not kink it.
