hope you thoroughly enjoy the new Braun ap-
pliance. Carefully read the use instructions before
use.
Braun steam & style pro with integrated steam
function is suitable for pre-drying wet hair and
styling towel dry or damp hair as well as for styling
and refreshing dry hair.
Important
• Plug your appliance into an alternating current
outlet only and make sure that your household
voltage corresponds to the voltage marked on
your appliance.
• This appliance must never be used near
water (e.g. a filled wash basin, bathtub
or shower).
Do not allow the appliance to become
wet.
• Never fill water directly in the heating tube.
• For additional protection, it is advisable to
install a residual current device (RCD) with a
rated residual operating current not exceeding
30mA in the electrical circuit of your bath-
room. Ask your installer for advice.
• Do not wrap the mains cord around the ap-
pliance. Regularly check the mains cord for
wear or damage. The mains cord of the ap-
pliance may only be replaced by an authorised
Braun Service Centre. Unqualified repair work
can lead to extreme hazards for the user.
• Always unplug after use. If plugged in, the
appliance will continue to heat even on the
« »-setting. Even switched off, the appli-
ance presents a hazard when near water.
• The maximum environmental temperature for
operating the appliance is 30 °C.

«1» = Warm air setting to style a medium and
small amount of hair and to create
volume at the roots.

especially with the volumizer attachment
(only with steam & style pro).
= Cool shot setting for styles to
last longer (is activated on all
settings («1», «2», «3») when
pulling and holding the switch

Before use
Each time before filling with water unplug the
appliance.
1 Pull the water reservoir off the appliance
(illustr. 1).
2 Turn to open the water reservoir (illustr. 2).
3 Fill the water reservoir with tap water to the
top of the black rubber ring and close tight the
water reservoir (illustr. 3).
4 Re-insert the water reservoir until it snaps into
place (illustr. 4).
5 Plug into an electrical outlet. The power con-
trol light lights up. Let the appliance heat up
on the « »-setting. Ready for steaming after
2 minutes (illustr. 5).
After use
Always empty the water reservoir.
Styling
• Big brush attachment for big curls
• Small brush attachment for medium and small
curls
• Volumizer attachment
(only with steam & style pro)

Steam function

The steam function can be used with all attach-
ments. To add steam to a streak of hair press the
top of the water reservoir (you will hear a click).
Steam will be released from the openings of the
tong, giving the hair additional heat and just the
required amount of natural moisture for a longer
lasting style.
