Loosen the indexable knob (A, Fig 10)
and slide blade guide assembly (E) as
close as possible without interfering
the material being cut.
Tighten knob.
Fig 10
Loosen the bolt (C) and slide blade
guide assembly (D), as close as
possible, without interfering the
material being cut.
Tighten bolt.
7.4 Guide bearing adjustment
Disconnect the machine from the
power source.
Loosen bolt (B, Fig 11) and adjust
assembly (C) so that back roller
bearing (D) is approximately 0,1mm
from the back of the blade. Tighten
bolt.
Fig 11
Loosen nut (F) and turn eccentric shaft
(G) to adjust bearing (E) to a clearance
of 0,05mm. Tighten nut to lock.

7.5 Blade tracking adjustment

Warning:
Blade tracking adjustment requires
running the saw with the wheel
cover open. This adjustment must
be completed by qualified persons
only.
Failure to comply may cause
serious injury!
The blade tracking has been set at the
factory and should not need
adjustments.
Confirm that the blade tension is set
properly.
Run the saw at lowest speed.
The blade should run next to but not
tightly against the wheel flange.
If blade tracking needs to be adjusted
loosen the bolt (A, Fig 12).
Fig 12
Turning the set screw (B) clockwise
tracks the blade closer to the wheel
flange.
The tracking is sensitive, start with ¼
turn of the set screw.
Once tracking is set, tighten bolt (A)
firmly.

7.6 Feed speed adjustment

You can control the sawblade
downward feeding with the valve
control knob (G, Fig 13) and lock the
saw with the on/off valve (F).
Fig 13
The cutting of thin-walled workpieces
(profiles, tubes etc.) requires slow
feeding to avoid excessive wear of
sawblade.
A good indication of proper feed speed
is the shape of the cutting chips. If the
chips are thin or powdered increase
the feed speed.
The stop screw (H) prevents the blade
from contacting the base after the cut.
7.7 Vice adjustments
To open and close the vice use the
handwheel (Fig 14).
Fig 14
Vise positions:
There are two sets of holes in the base
for mounting the vise.
For miter cuts from 0° up to 45°, mount
the vise to the left set of holes.
For miter cuts over 45° up to 60°, use
the vise in the right set of holes.
Fig 15
Disconnect band saw from power
source.
Raise the saw arm.
Make sure the hydraulic cylinder is
closed (valve lever perpendicular to
cylinder).
Remove the two screws and washers
which secure the vise, and lift off the
vise.
Move the bushings from the first set of
holes to the other set of holes.
Reattach the vise.
Remove the socket head cap screw (C,
Fig 16) to allow the saw arm to swivel
to the other side.
Move the chip pan and the stock stop
to the other side.
7.8 Saw arm adjustment
The saw arm can be adjusted for
square and mitre cuts.
