SAFETY INSTRUCTOINS
A ladder is a tool that you can use for climbing up to higher working
areas to carry out minor tasks. The maximum load when working is 150
kg. Ladders may only be used by one person.
BEFORE USE
• Check carefully that you are capable of using a ladder. Certain medical con-
ditions or medication, alcohol or drug abuse could make ladder use unsafe.
• When transporting ladders on a roof rack or in a lorry, make sure they
are suitably placed to prevent damage.
• Inspect the ladder after delivery and before using it for the first time to
make sure it is good condition and that all of the parts work properly.
• Make sure the ladder is not damaged and that it is safe to use at the
start of every working day when you are going to use the ladder.
• The ladder is not intended for professional use – only private use.
• Make sure the ladder is suitable for the task.
• Never use a damaged ladder.
• Remove any contamination from the ladder, such as wet paint, mud, oil
or snow.
• Before using the ladder, you must carry out a risk assessment in accor-
dance with the legislation in the country of use.
