6.1.1 Disinfection
Disinfect the machine with hot water (82°C)
each time the machine is used. Always per-
form disinfection separately from cleaning.
Always allow the disinfectant to work for 20-30
minutes.
6.1.2 Cleaning the Fish scaler
Clean the machine with a cloth, brush and
warm water (40 - 55°C) after completing work.
Hold the machine head under a strong jet of
water, if necessary, to clean the roller; disas-
semble the roller (see Chapter 4.1).
Stubborn or encrusted dirt and residue must
be soaked beforehand. Clean using a cleaning
agent, preferably as a foam, that is applied to
the surface to be cleaned and allowed to work
in for 15 – 20 minutes. Subsequently wash off
the loosened dirt manually with warm water.

mendation; if other cleaning agents are used,
the customer should examine the material
compatibility and compliance with the hygiene

6.2 Maintenance (After Approx. 500
Operating Hours)
6.2.1 Changing the seals
Check the function of the shaft sealing ring and
O-rings on the housing each time maintenance
is completed. Replace the seals with new ones
as necessary.

Loosen the hexagon bolt (1) on the roller

adapter at the front of the machine head
and remove it together with the locking
washer (2).

Clamp the machine head (4) in a vice.

Loosen the housing of the handle (5) from

Screw the handle housing to the machine

Screw the roller on the roller adapter using

the screw (1) and locking washer (2).
Replacing the O-ring on the machine
head
Release the roller and machine head from

the shaft (procedure is described above).

ing.
Grease the new O-ring slightly before in-

stalling it.
