Establish the necessary power connections to
the power adapter fuses in accordance with
the applicable national laws (115 V or 230 V).
The fuses in the power adapt-
er plug must be set to OFF
when connected!
Only switch the fuses on
when the fish scaler is con-
nected to the power adapter
plug!
Handheld electrical equipment must be
equipped with an operator protection switch
(30 mA residual current circuit breaker) (order
no. 001 603 511) to increase safety. Machines
with low voltages are excluded from this re-
quirement.
3.2 Actuating Switches
The fish scaler may only be
switched on after the opera-
tor has read this operating
manual and the fish scaler
has been connectedproperly!
3.2.1 Switching on
Set the power adapter plug to the required
input voltage (115V / 230V).

Hold the unit firmly by the supporting han-

To switch on, actuate the switch with the

index and middle fingers and pivot the
switch lock (c) away (see Fig. 2).

3.2.2 Switching off
Remove the index and middle finger from

the switch.
The switch switches off automatically due

to the return spring and is locked.
3.3 Using the Fish Scaler
3.3.1

Working procedure

Before putting the equipment into operation,
ensure the machine power rating complies
with the local power supply. Carry out a func-
tion test before starting work.

The fish scaler kicks a little
when started up due to the
torque. Ensure you hold it
firmly!
After being switched off, volt-
age continues to be applied
for a further 10-15 seconds.
The unit can
restart within this period!
Keep your fingers away from
the hazard area of the rotat-
ing roller in the machine head
when working with the fish
scaler!
When using the fish scaler,
secure the fish from slipping
away!
Wear eye protection or safety
goggles when completing
working!
