This manual is intended for the machine op-
erator.Keep it in a safe place!
The fish Scaler may only be operated:
In a technically safe condition, for its in-

tended use and in accordance with the
applicable safety and accident prevention
regulations.
With all the safety devices attached.

When the operating personnel has read

and understood this manual, in particular
Chapter 2.and Chapter 3.
This is the only way to prevent incorrect oper-
ation and hazardous situations
Never reach into the area of
theroller while it is in opera-
tion! There is an increased
risk of injury!
Improper use of the machine
can lead to parts being dam-
aged!
Only use original spare parts
from EFA to guarantee the
machine!
Wear eye protection or safety
Goggles when working with
the machine!

Intended Use

1.2.1 Field of use
The fish scaler can be used in all areas of fish
processing operations.
The unit operates at 48 V DC and is suitable
for use in wet areas.
EFA 750: To scale fish.
The machine is particularly suitable for use in
small enterprises.
The machine is not equipped for any other
form of use. Should the operator wish to use
the machine in some other way, please con-
sult Schmid & Wezel GmbH & Co. KG (S&W)
beforehand.
Any other use may result in an increased risk
of accident and component wear. The user
alone bears the responsibility for all conse-
quences of any other form of use.
1.2.2 Residual risks
The fish scaler is designed for industrial use in
fish processing. Its use involves a risk of inju-
ry.
