Proper use
The machine is designed for the setting of blind rivets
from various materials.
The operator shall be fully responsible for any damage
caused by improper use.
Start-up (fig. I)

Air supply

To ensure trouble-free operation, the gun must be sup-
plied with a sufficient volume of dry filtered and oiled
air at the required pressure.
When compressed air is produced with compressors,
water contained in the air collects as condensate in the
pressure vessel and the pipelines. It must be drained off
through a water trap. Check and empty the water trap
at least once daily.
The pipelines feeding the compressed air to the ma-
chine should be equipped with a compressed air main-
tenance unit (filter/water trap/oiler) located as close
as possible to the connecting point. Check the oiler at
least once every day and add oil, if necessary (for rec-
ommended oils, see machine data).
Compressed air connection
The blind rivet gun may only be operated with clean,
dry compressed air at a controlled pressure (see ma-
chine data).
To connect the gun to the compressed air supply, use a
quick-release coupling.
