5.2. Application
The Oventrop combined control and regulating valves "Cocon
QTZ" are used in central heating and cooling systems with
circulation pump for flow and room temperature control.
The "Cocon QTZ" valves can be used in combination with the
Oventrop actuators (M 30 x 1.5, e.g. 2 point, 3 point, propor-
tional (0-10 V), "KNX" or "LON" actuators as well as thermo-
stats and temperature controllers).

5.3. Min. differential pressure for valve design
The minimum required differential pressure p1-p3 across the
valve can be obtained from the below chart.
Explanation regarding chart:
As for the valves with integrated flow control, the required
minimum differential pressure changes depending on the no-
minal setting. The mathematical interrelationship is onsidered
in the chart.
