For any feed circuit breaker that trips, locate the
shorted load and resolve the wiring problem before
proceeding.
10. Turn circuit breaker(s) OFF. Remove and store the two
position bypass jumpers for possible later use.
CAUTION - Bypass jumpers must be reused when-
ever a circuit breaker is turned OFF to work on a
load. Damage caused by short circuits and miswiring
IS NOT COVERED by the product warranty.
11. Mount the module into the rough-in panel as shown
in Figure 1. Do not overtighten screws, torque to
20 in-lbs (2.25 N
m).
•
12. Secure the module's wires in the appropriate terminal
blocks using 5 in-lbs to 7 in-lbs (0.60 N
m) of torque. Attention: Install the Control Hot
0.80 N
•
(CH) on the Circuit 1 Hot and Control Neutral (CN) on
the Circuit 1 Neutral as shown in Figure 3.
13. Set the address switch to match the module's position
as shown in Figure 1. See Figure 4 for address switch
function settings.
14. Plug in the control harness as described in the
HomeWorks
processor or module interface installation
®
instructions.
15. Replace panel cover and turn the input circuit
breaker(s) ON.
16. After the processor is configured, check each mod-
ule's diagnostic LED (Light Emitting Diode).

Testing Prior to Connection to Processor
The module's rotary address switch can be used to operate
the circuits without a processor. Always turn OFF all circuit
breakers that feed the panel before opening the panel. See
Figure 4 for the address switch function settings.
