4.5 Swiveling the Mounted Instrument and Adjusting Swivel Tension
4.5.1. To swivel mounted instrument, simply push or pull instrument.
4.5.2. To adjust swivel tension, tighten or loosen the Swivel Tension Nut using the 1/2'' [13 mm] socket wrench provided.
Installation Note: It may be necessary to remove an existing down post from the swivel cup to gain access to the
Swivel Tension Nut.
Warning: Swivel tension nut must be torqued to a minimum of 20 in-lbs [2.3 N-m].
4.6 Adjusting Tilt Tension and Tilting the Mounted Device
In most configurations, the mounted instrument may be tilted and tilt tension may be adjusted.
4.6.1. Adjust tilt tension by equally tightening or loosening two (2) Tension Adjustment Screws with provided 5/32" Hex
Wrench.
4.6.2. To tilt mounted instrument, simply push or pull instrument.
Warning: Tilt tension screws must be torqued to a minimum of 35 in-lbs [4.0 N-m].
