Note: Do not screw the adjustment screw 8 of the grinding mechanism
too tight in order to prevent damage to the grinding mechanism.
Do not unscrew the adjustment screw 8 too far, otherwise it will fall out.
Mounting the Spice Grinder to the IXO Screwdriver
(see figure D)
– Insert the hexagon adapter 9 of cap-knob 1 directly into the tool holder
of the screwdriver.
Grinding Spices
Grinding Spices with the IXO (see figure E)
To grind spices with the IXO, the cap-knob 1 must be mounted (see
"Changing the Cap-knob", page 16).
– Remove the closing cap 5.
– To set the screwdriver to right rotation, push the rotational direction
switch leftwards through to the stop.
The indicator for right rotation lights up when the On/Off
switch is actuated and the motor is running.
– Hold the spice grinder with one hand and the screwdriver with the oth-
er hand.
– To grind the spice, press and hold the On/Off switch of the screwdriv-
er.
– After enough spice has been ground, release the On/Off switch and re-
move the grinding mechanism from the screwdriver.
– Mount the closing cap 5 back onto the spice container 4.
The closing cap protects the grinding mechanism against external
damage and debris.
Grinding Spices Manually (see figure F)
To grind spices manually, the cap-knob 2 must be mounted (see "Chang-
ing the Cap-knob", page 16).
– Remove the closing cap 5.
– Turn the cap-knob 2 (not the lock ring 3!) clockwise.
– Mount the closing cap 5 back onto the spice container 4.
The closing cap protects the grinding mechanism against external
damage and debris.
