Note:
If you can´t slide the drum to one side
and pull it out, it is because the blade of
the drum is blocked by the plastic
housing. Rotate the drum so that the
blade does not block the plastic housing,
then you can slide the drum to one side
and pull it out. See Page 4, Fig. 7.
Pull the securing lever (b) up and turn it to the
unlock position, see Page 4, Fig. 8, step 1, 2.
Put the drum in, see Fig. 8, step 3.
Slide the drum to one side, ensuring both
bearings align correctly, see Fig. 8, step 4.
Check both ends are seated correctly, turn the
securing lever to its lock position, see Fig. 8,
step 5, 6.

Prior to every start
What?
Check mains plug
and cable for
damage.
Check all screwed
connections and
tighten them if
necessary.
Remove all grass
and moss from the
ventilation slits of
the motor.
Cleaning the machine
The machine should be cleaned immediately after
each use. Grass residue which dries in place is
very hard, and can be removed only with difficulty.
Empty the collecting bag.
Remove grass residue with a brush and a
plastic scraper if necessary (do not use sharp
equipment).
Remove deposits from the wheels.
Wipe the machine with a slightly damp cloth
NOTICE!
Risk of machine damage!
Never clean with water or a high pressure
jet.
Cleaning the grass sack
The best method is to clean the collecting bag
straight after you have finished scarifying.
Detach and empty the collecting bag.
The collecting bag may be cleaned with a
powerful jet of water from the garden hose.
Allow the collecting bag to dry out thoroughly
before using it again.
How?
Inspect visually and, if
damaged, it must be
replaced by the
manufacturer or a specialist
service provider to eliminate
the risk of accident.
Remove them with a
vacuum cleaner or a brush.
