TROUBLESHOOTING

If you have any problems with your shredder,check the symptoms and solutions described below.
If this fails to resolve the problem,contact your nearest Kobra dealer.
Never open the shredder head to try to repair it.You could expose yourself to the risk of severe electric shock and
invalidade your guarantee.
PROBLEM
The shredder does not start
The shredder never stops
Signigicant reduction in
shredding capacity.
WHAT HAPPENS
o
The light bar (P) does not
come on and the ENERGY
SMART light (1) does not
come on
o
Illuminated optical
indicator (10) comes on.
o
Illuminated optical
indicator (9) comes on.
o
Light bar (P) or (6)
comes on.
o
Llight bar (P) or (6)
on,cutting knives in
operation.
o
Capacity reduced
compared with capacity
when cutting blades are
oiled.

CAUSE
o
Switch (O) in the OFF
position
o
Cable not connected
properly
o
No electrical power
o
Lid (C) or (I) not closet
properly
o
Bag full (N) or (F).
o
Motor in heat protection
mode.
o
Material and/or dirt
deposited on photo cells
(3) or (3A).
o
Cutting knives need
oiling.

AZIONE
o
Press the Switch (O)
o
Check if machine is
plugged in correctly to
power cocker.
o
Check if the socket is
switched on.
o
Close the lid properly
o
Empty the bag
o
Wait 15 minutes for
motor to cool down.
o
Remove deposit from
photo cells.
o
Oil the cutting knives
manually and for models
fitted with the
AUTOMATIC OILER ,
replace the empty
container with a full one.
