Time:
Decrease the time by pressing this button.
Each touch will decrease the time by 1 minute. Keeping the button pressed will rapidly decrease the time.
3) GUIDE (7 Preset cooking programs)
Press this button to choose from the 7 preset cooking modes programs. The selected preset function icon will
start flashing on the LCD display (1) after it has been selected using the guide button.
4) ROTOR
Press to activate the rotisserie spindle. Press again to stop the rotisserie spindle.
5) START / POWER ON/OFF
Touch the power button to switch the device ON or OFF. Press once to switch the device ON. Once a mode has
been selected, or when in User Mode, press the power button to start the frying process. Press the button again
to switch OFF the device. If no selection is made, the device will switch OFF automatically after approximately 1
min.
6) DELAY
If you wish to start a cooking program automatically at a later time, you can set the device to start up
automatically with a delay of up to 9 hours and 59 minutes; follow these steps to set your delay time:
- The master switch ON/OFF must be switched ON [I]
- Press START (5) to activate the device
- Press delay timer and use the + (8) or – (2) buttons to set the future start point. A single press of either
button equates to 1 minute, a long press equates to 20 minutes.
- Press START (5) again and then press GUIDE (3) to select your preset cooking program; adjust the
time or temperature and press START (5) again. The device will start automatically with the selected
cooking program after the selected delay time has elapsed.
7) TEMP/TIMER
Selection button for temperature or time adjustment.
- The time icon will flash when the time is being set.
- The temperature icon will flash when the temperature is being set.
8) Temperature / time adjustment plus [+]
Temperature:
Increase the temperature by pressing this button. Each press will increase the temperature by 10°C. Keeping
the button pressed will rapidly increase the temperature.
Time:
Increase the time by pressing this button.
Each touch will increase the time by 1 minute. Keeping the button pressed will rapidly increase the time.
Note: A beep sound will be heard when making the selections described above.
Automatic switch-OFF
The device features a built-in timer that automatically shuts OFF the device after the cooking program has
finished or if no selections are made when the device is switched ON.
First use:
• Remove the device and accessories from the box. Remove any stickers, protective film or plastic from the
device.
• Before you use the device for the first time, wipe all the removable parts with a damp cloth. Wash the
accessories and bowl in warm soapy water, rinse well and dry thoroughly before first use. Never use aggressive
or abrasive cleaning materials, a scouring sponge or steel wool; this damages the device, the inner bowl and
inner pan.
• Place the device on a flat, stable surface, in a place where it cannot fall over.
• Install the bowl and accessories.
• Connect the device to the mains power and switch the master ON/OFF switch [1] to ON.
• On the control panel, press START (5) and use GUIDE (3) to select the desired preset and press START (5)
again.
• Allow the device to warm up for 15 minutes without any food inside.
• You will encounter a small amount of smoke and a specific smell the first time you use the device. This is
normal and will soon disappear. Make sure there is adequate ventilation.
Cooking / Frying
Before using the device, you must decide if you will be cooking with the dual rack, fork or rolling frying basket.
- Use the dual rack if you are using the device as a regular halogen hot air oven.
Low rack position: good for cooking larger food items such as roast poultry (full size), rice casserole,
vegetables, etc.
