Serial interface:
The linking of the Ethernet option to the balance takes place internally via the serial
interface COM 2 or the analogue option via COM 3. The picture below
depicts the original settings. You may restore original settings by
using COM Reset.

Notice: The Ethernet option is supplied with the original setting 9600, 8-none. If the
Ethernet option is installed or exchanged at a later date it is necessary to restore this
original setting for the serial interface.
Net work:
Go to the menu item Communication – Option – Ethernet to set the parameters
IP-address, subnet mask and gateway required for communication in the network. The
following picture shows the original settings. Original settings may be restored by resetting
the Ethernet.

Attention: The quoted addresses are merely examples. You must ask your network
administrator which settings are to be used.
Notice: "---.---.---.--- " is displayed for the setting of the IP-address, subnet mask and
gateway if no parameters are made available by the Ethernet option. Check the setting of
the serial interface (original setting).
Check the correct installation of the Ethernet option in the balance.
