In Dictation mode ( DICT), keep the microphone at a distance of approx.
2 - 4 inches from your mouth.
In Conference mode ( CONF), you can record speech within 15 feet of the
microphone.

Battery Compartment

Insert two 1.5 V AAA or UM4 batteries prior to use. Use only leak-proof
alkaline batteries LR03.
Or save money by using Philips rechargeable batteries LFH 0154 .
Protect the environment: do not dispose of empty batteries in household
waste!
Note: Remove the batteries from the Pocket Memo if you do not intend to
use the device for a long period of time.
Belt Clip

Attach the belt clip to the back of your Pocket Memo and turn it clockwise
until it clicks into place.
To remove the belt clip, lift the lock arm slightly and turn the belt clip
anti-clockwise.
