Installation and removal instructions for
Series NRX drawout cassette and
fixed breaker interphase barriers
Fixed breaker barriers
Rear connect primary covers on the rear of the fixed breaker have
two sets of molded friction fit guides to secure the barriers in place.
There are two guides near the top and two near the bottom that are
used for mounting Eaton supplied interphase barriers (Figure 5).

Proceed with the following four steps.
Steps 1 and 2
To install both supplied rubber type interphase barriers, slide each
barrier down between the top and bottom sets of molded guides.
The molded guides will hold the barriers securely in place at the top
and bottom. Three barriers would be required for a four-pole breaker.

Step 3
Once the barriers are installed, they will feel securely mounted to
the touch and appear as shown.

Reverse the procedure to remove the barriers from the fixed breaker.
