Automatic stand-by of the display at night
In order to save energy, the display of the KWID automatically switches
to stand-by from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Press K4 during the stand-by
period, the display will automatically light up for 15 minutes and the
watch can then be used in the normal way. After 7:00 AM, push K4
and the watch will start working for the rest of the day.

battery life

The average life of the battery in normal use is 6 months. It is prolonged
depending on the time of the daily start-up.

changing the battery

To change the battery, carefully open the watch case with the aid of a
small screwdriver and replace the used 2032 battery with a new one
of the same type. It is recommended to have the battery changed by a
professional watchmaker.
Resistance to water
The KWID is "water resistant", i.e. it can take splashes of water, but
total immersion in water for more than 2-3 seconds should be abso-
lutely avoided.

The KWID contains several different recyclable materials. Ensure
that you do not put your KWID in the household waste but take
it, free of charge, to a special waste treatment centre for small
electrical appliances (waste recycling centre).
