Using the hourglass :

press K4 for 2 seconds, the flashing hour-
glass appears
when the hourglass is flashing, add/empty
sand with K1 (+) or K3 (-)
when the hourglass flashes, press K4 to start
the hourglass or wait for a few seconds; it
will start automatically
press 1x K4. After a few seconds the display
goes back to 'hourglass'
press 2x K4. After a few seconds the display
goes back to 'hourglass'
press K4 for 2 seconds, the flashing hour-
glass appears. Fill/empty with K1 (+) or K3
(-). Press K4 to start the hourglass or wait for
a few seconds, it will start automatically
press at the same time on the K1, K2, K3 and
K4 buttons
while the hourglass is empty, a mother rabbit
appears and an alarm goes off every 20
seconds. Press K4, the display goes back to
the time reading mode.
