Adhesive strip mounting

Fasten the window / door contact with the supplied dou-
ble-sided adhesive strips in the window / door frame. To
do this, please proceed as follows:
• Attach the double-sided adhesive strips to the
back side of the window / door contact (see fig.
6) and press the device onto the desired position
of the window / door frame.
Make sure that the mounting surface is smooth,
solid, non-disturbed, free of dust, grease and sol-
vents and not too cold to ensure long-time ad-
herence.

Replacing batteries

If an empty battery is displayed via the app or the device
(see „7.4 Error codes and flashing sequences" on page
38), replace the used batteries by two new LR03/
micro/AAA batteries. You must observe the correct
battery polarity.
To replace the batteries of the window / door contact,
please proceed as follows:
Pull the cap (D) off the electronic unit (B). There-
•
fore, press the latch of the cover downwards and
pull down the cover afterwards (see fig. 2). You
will find the battery compartment below (E).
