CARE AND MAINTENANCE
GENERALLY
Please check your pushchair's functions regularly. Make sure that the frame is stable, the screws
sit firmly, the interlocking devices close securely, the wheels are retained securely and the brakes
are in working order. Check from time to time that the seams in the textile upholstery are strong and
that the plastic parts are in good condition. Defective or worn parts should always be exchanged
immediately. Proceed likewise with components which are broken, torn, defective or worn. Please
use only hauck's original spare parts while doing so. Do not place your pushchair in strong sunlight
because it could fade the textile covers and plastic parts
CLEANING THE COVERS
Remove the cover from the frame by loosening the straps, push-button catches or screws. Please
follow the advice given on the sewn-in washing label before washing the cover. Only use a damp
cloth to wipe off the cover, in order to conserve it properly. Please make sure that you do not soak
the entire cover, whenever you clean textile covers that are filled with irremovable padding. You can
wash the cover in a washing machine at 30°C and then spin-dry it at an average spinning speed, if
you do not find any parts made of plastic, wood or metal in the cover. Allow the cover to dry in the
open air but not in direct sunlight. Please avoid shrinkage by not putting the cover into a tumble drier.
Only refit the covers after they have dried out completely.
CLEANING THE FRAME
Dry off the pushchair with a soft cloth after cleaning it, or after it has been used in rain or snow. Only
use mild soapsuds or lukewarm water, in order to clean your pushchair's frame. Plastic parts can be
cleaned with commercially available cleaning agents.
MAINTAINING THE WHEELS
Clean and maintain the wheels regularly. Treatment with a silicon spray or an anti-corrosive spray
protects them from rust and soiling. You must ensure during the winter that residues of scattered salt
and sand are removed immediately. Remove dirt from the wheels and axles regularly.
