Details of electrical data can be found on the rating plate,
which also includes the model identification number and serial
number which are required for the ordering of spare parts.

2 Safety
Our blowers excel by a high degree of operating safety. As
the blowers are rather high-powered machines, the safety in-
structions must be strictly adhered to in order to avoid injuries,
damage to objects and to the machine itself.

2.1 Suction effect
The blowers produce a powerful suction effect.
Warning!
Objects, items of clothing and also hair can be
sucked into the intake port.
Danger of injury.
Do not stand near the intake opening during opera-
tion. The wire guards on the intake ports may only
be removed if hoses or pipes of at least 1m in
length are connected instead. Never operate the blo-
wer with open intake port (danger of injury from the
impeller).
2.2 Blowing effect
Warning!
Powerful blow-out at the discharge flange. Sucked-
in objects may be ejected at very high speed
(danger of injury).
Blowers are meant for conveying clean air only. The
sucking-in of solid particles and other contaminants
– which might be discharged – must be avoided at
all times. These objects have to be withheld before
entering into the blower by installing a filter.
The blower may never be operated with open
discharge flange, and therefore has to be protected
with a wire guard in accordance with DIN EN 294.
Do not grasp into the discharge flange.
2.3 Temperature
Warning!
The blower housing assumes the temperature of the
conveyed medium during operation. If this is above
+50° C, the blower must be protected against direct
contact by the operator (danger of burning).
2.4 Proper application
The blowers are designed for conveying clean air only.
Using them for
G aggressive
G poisonous
G explosive or
G very moist
media is not permitted.
The maximum temperature of the conveyed medium must not
exceed +80° C. Solid particles or contaminants must be
withheld by a filter unit before entering the blower.
The maximum ambient temperature must not exceed +40° C,
the minimum not below -20° C.
The blower cannot be operated in an explosive atmosphere.
Special versions for applications not mentioned above are
available on demand.
Remodelling and modifications of the blower are not allowed.
With special appliances, the instructions in the supplementary
operating instructions also attached must be observed and
complied with. They deviate in certain points from these
operating instructions.
