Intended use
This product is intended for timing and displaying split times and lap times. In the first 30
minutes, measurement is to 1/100 second, thereafter measurement is in hours and seconds. In
addition, the stopwatch also displays the time in 12/24 hour format, the date and the day of the
week. The product has an alarm function for a daily repeatable acoustic alarm and a snooze
function. Power is supplied by a button cell battery.
This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture (e.g.
in bathrooms) must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the
product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition,
improper use can cause hazards such as a short circuit or fire. Read the instructions carefully
and store them in a safe place. Only make this product available to third parties together with
its operating instructions.

a) General
• The product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a
dangerous toy for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed
if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height may
damage the product.
• Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product, or if
you have concerns about safety.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must be carried out by a technician or a
specialist repair centre.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions,
contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
b) Battery
• Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the batteries.
• To prevent battery leakage, remove the battery if you do not plan to use the
product for an extended period. Leaking or damaged batteries may cause acid
burns if they come into contact with your skin. Always use protective gloves when
handling damaged batteries.
• The battery must be kept out of the reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying
around, as they constitute a choking hazard for children and pets.
• Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into fire. Never
recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Danger of explosion!

Operation

• The battery is already inserted on delivery.
• Pull the battery isolating strip from the side of the product before first use. The stopwatch is
now operational. The LC display lights up.
• If the LC display is unclear, check the battery contact. If necessary, remove and insert the
battery again to ensure proper contact. See section "a) Replacing the battery".
a) Replacing the battery
• Loosen the 4 screws on the back with a suitable screwdriver and remove the rear battery
compartment cover.
• Replace the battery with an equivalent battery. Ensure the correct polarity when inserting.
• Close the battery compartment cover again by screwing in.
• Use only button cells of type LR 44.
b) Mode overview
• Press the MODE button (B) to switch between the different display modes.
- Time, date, day of the week
- Daily alarm
- Stopwatch
Settings
a) Time mode - setting the time and calendar
• To set the time, press the MODE button (B) three times until time mode is displayed. You can
recognise time mode due to the fact that the day of the week, the hours, minutes and seconds
are shown on the display. The day of the week indicator with "TU" starts to flash. At the same
time, the seconds start to flash.
• Press the START/STOP button (C) to change the values one step upwards. In the second
range, you can reset the second digits to 00 only.
• In order to go through the digits and adjustable parameters quickly, press and hold the
START/STOP button (C).
• The SPLIT/RESET button (A) can be used to activate additional settings in the following
sequence: Seconds > Minutes > Hours > Day > Month > Day of the week.
• To exit time and calendar setting, press the MODE button (B) once.
b) 12/24 hour mode
• While setting the hours (the hours flash), press and hold the START/STOP button (C) to run
through the setting and to switch to 12 hour mode (midnight to 11:59 midday). Continuing
to press and hold takes you to 24 hour mode (12:00 midday to 23:59 midnight). The display
switches between 24 h or "AM" or "PM" are displayed in 12 hour mode.
c) Reading the date and time
• Press and hold the START/STOP button (C) in time mode to read the date. Release the
button to display the time again.
• You can read the set alarm time by pressing and holding the SPLIT/RESET button (A).
Release the button to display the time again.
